Los Golden Globe Awards 2024 se entregaron el domingo por la noche, destacando películas como “Oppenheimer”, “Barbie”, “Poor Things” y “Anatomy of a Fall”. “Oppenheimer” fue nombrada mejor película dramática, con Christopher Nolan llevándose el premio a la dirección. “Poor Things” ganó en la categoría de mejor película musical o de comedia, mientras que “Anatomy of a Fall” se llevó el premio a la mejor película de habla no inglesa y “The Boy and the Heron” fue nombrada mejor película animada.
En el ámbito televisivo, “Succession” fue nombrada mejor serie dramática, mientras que “The Bear” se llevó el premio a la mejor serie de televisión, musical o de comedia.
Entre los ganadores en las categorías de actuación se encuentran Lily Gladstone, Paul Giamatti, Emma Stone, Robert Downey Jr., Jeremy Allen White, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Ayo Edebiri, Kieran Cullkin, Ali Wong, Steven Yeun y Matthew Macfadyen. Billie Eilish O’Connell y Finneas O’Connell ganaron el premio a la mejor canción.
Este año, se introdujeron nuevas categorías para reconocer la comedia stand-up y los logros cinematográficos y de taquilla. “Barbie” ganó el premio al mejor logro cinematográfico y de taquilla. Ricky Gervais, presentador previo de los Globos, ganó el premio por su actuación en comedia stand-up en televisión por “Ricky Gervais: Armageddon”.
La ceremonia fue conducida por Jo Koy y se transmitió en vivo por CBS desde el Beverly Hilton, así como en Paramount+. Antes de la ceremonia, “Barbie” y “Succession” lideraron las nominaciones con nueve cada una.
Los Golden Globe Awards 2024 marcan la primera edición desde que la Asociación de Prensa Extranjera de Hollywood, antiguo respaldo de los Globos de Oro, fue reemplazada tras la adquisición de todos sus activos por Dick Clark Productions y Eldridge. Ahora, Dick Clark Productions es la dueña y productora de los premios. La HFPA ya no supervisa los Globos, siendo reemplazada por un nuevo grupo diverso de votantes compuesto por 300 periodistas de todo el mundo, representando a 76 países.
En noviembre, los Globos firmaron un nuevo contrato de transmisión con CBS después de poner fin a su larga relación con NBC, que transmitió los Globos de Oro 2023. A continuación, se presenta la lista completa de ganadores.
